Connecting USB devices
USBports
On the USB ports, you can connect external devices that also have a USB port
(e.g. a DVD drive, a printer, a scanner or a modem).
USB devices are hot-pluggable. T his means you c an connect and disconne ct
devices while your operating system is running.
USB 2.0 has a data transfer r ate of up to 480 Mbit/s.

► Connect the data cable to the
external device.

port on the Tab let PC.
Device drivers
USB devices will be automatically recognised and installed by your operating system.
How to remove U
SB devices correctly
Always correctly remove the device according to the rules described below,
to ensure that none of your data is lost.
► Tap the symb
ol for safe removal of the hardware.
► Select the device which you want to shut dow n and remove.
► Ta p OK.
Wait for the dialogue box which tells you that it is now safe to remove the device.
