Memory module compartment Contains the memory module slot.

NOTE: The computer fan starts up
automatically to cool internal components and
prevent overheating. It is normal for the internal
fan to cycle on and off during routine operation.
(3) Accessory battery connector Connects an optional accessory battery.

Battery cover release latch Releases the battery cover.
(5) Battery bay Holds the battery and the hard drive.
NOTE: The battery is preinstalled in the
battery bay at the factory.
