Microphone Kit (includes left and right microphones and cables) 709454-001
Before removing the microphones, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

Remove the display assembly (see
Display assembly on page 26).
5. Remove the system board (see
System board on page 42).
Remove the microphones:
1. Disconnect the left microphone (1) from the power button board.
2. Disconnect the right microphone (2) from the power system board.
3.
Remove the microphones.
Reverse this procedure to install the microphones.
