Check that the CD-ROM drive has
been detected in the Setup
program. Press F2 to enter the
Setup program
• Check that the data and power
cables are correctly connected to
the CD-ROM drive.
• Also refer to page 28 for further
troubleshooting help.
• Check that the data and power
cables are correctly connected to
Floppy disk drive A.
• Also refer to page 27 for further
troubleshooting help.
• Check that the data and power
cables are correctly connected to
Floppy disk drive B.
• Also refer to page 27 for further
troubleshooting help.
• Check that the termination card is
present and correctly installed in
processor slot 2 in a single
processor system.
• After a system board replacement,
the serial number (located on the
back of the PC Workstation) is
required. Follow the instructions on
the monitor to enter the system
serial number.
• Check that the IDE slave and
master devices per channel have
been correctly defined in the Setup
program. Press
F2 to enter the
Setup program, then IDE.
After a system board replacement,
the product name (XU800) is required.
Follow the instructions on the monitor
to enter the product name.
• Check that the System board is
correctly configured (power,
processor, terminator, PCI cards,
cables and switches).
If there is still a problem, replace the
system board.
