User Mode
User mode allows the default values of various functions to be set or changed as necessary.
Setting these default values according to the need of the user saves labor in making settings
again each time the power is turned ON or Panel Reset is activated.
Display Function Name Description
U1 Special Print Mode Not available.
U2 Engineering Enhancement
Mode
Corrects slight image distortion occurring in the
scan direction.
U3 Auto Power Save Used to set the time it takes the unit to be automat-
ically set into the Auto Power Save mode.
U4 Paper Feeding Tray Size Used to set the size and direction of the paper
loaded in the Paper Feeding Tray.
U5 Imprint Position Setting Used to turn ON or OFF the Date Print and Char-
acter Overlay functions, and to set the date print
position for the Date Print function.
U6 Year, Month and Date Set
Mode
Used to set the print pattern for the Date Print
function.
U7 Imprint Mode Set Used to correct the time-of-day for the Date Print
function when it becomes wrong.
U8 Total Scan Counter Used to display the number of scan sequences car-
ried out by the Scanner
