Switchto“wakeup”the computerandrestorethepreviousstate.If
you enable the hibernation facility, when the computer battery is
extremely low, the computer will enter hibernation mode
automaticallybydefaultsetting.
The following are ways you can set your computer to enter
hibernationmode:“closethelidofportablecomputer”,“pressthe
PowerSwitch”or“pressthecomputersleepbutton”.
To enable the hibernation facility, Click Start‐> Control Panel‐>
Performance and Maintenance‐> Power Options‐> Hibernate,
choose“EnableHibernation”andclick“Apply”.
Hint:IfthePCcarddoesnotworkproperlyafterthesystem
restoressfromhibernationmode,removeandre‐installthe
cardandrestartthecomputer.
To quit hibernation mode, press the Power Switch. Press the
keyboardkeyandtouchpadcannotquitthehibernationmode.

Note:Ifyoudonotsaveyourdataintimebeforethebattery
runsout,andyouhavenorelatedprotectionsettingforthis
issue,yourdatawillbelost.Sowesuggestyoutoreadthe
followinginstructionsaboutsettinguplowpower
protection.
Whenthebatterypowerisverylow,thecomputerwillnotifyyou
bysound.Youshouldsaveallthedatatotheharddiskimmediately
andconnecttheACadaptortothecomputer.
If you can not connect the adaptor to the computer, turn off the
computerorletthecomputerenterhibernationmode.
