Hot Fuser Service Check
Main Motor Service Check
FRU Action
Model E310
Fuser Thermistor
Disconnect the thermistor cable from
the LVPS. Measure the resistance
across CN1-1 and CN1-2 of the
thermistor cable. Replace the
thermistor if the resistance is lower
than 1k ohm or shorted.
Model E312
Fuser Thermistor
Disconnect the thermistor cable from
the engine board. Measure the
resistance across CN10-1 and
CN10-3 of the thermistor cable.
Replace the thermistor if the
resistance is lower than 1k ohm or
shorted.
Models E310 & E312
Fuser Lamp
Make sure the correct voltage fuser
lamp is installed. Replace if
necessary.

Interconnect Board
Main Motor
Main Motor Cable
Check the interconnect board for the
following voltages:
CN405-3 +24 V dc
CN405-4 +24 V dc
If these voltages are not correct,
replace the interconnect board. If
these voltages are correct, check the
main motor cable for continuity. If
continuity exists on each wire,
replace the main motor. If continuity
does not exist on one or more of the
wires, replace the cable.
