Maintaining the printer
See the following table for the maintenance kit part number for your specific printer.
Replacement of the fuser must be performed by an authorized service technician.

Ordering charge rolls
We recommend ordering new charge rolls when toner fog or background shading appears on printed pages. Order
Lexmark part number 40X0127.
Ordering a transfer roller
Order Lexmark part number 40X0130.
Ordering pick rollers
Order Lexmark part number 40X0070.Order new pick rolls when the paper fails to properly feed from the tray.
When ordering pick rollers, you need one set per input tray excluding the multipurpose feeder.
Ordering a label fuser cleaner
A special label fuser cleaner should be used for label applications to optimize feeding reliability. To order this item, visit our
Web site at www.lexmark.com, or contact your Lexmark representative.
Label fuser cleaners are not recommended for duplex printing.
Ordering staple cartridges
Staple cartridges hold 3,000 staples. Use part number 11K3188 to order a pack of three staple cartridges. For information

When Staples Low or Staples Empty appears on the operator panel display, insert a new staple cartridge in the finisher.

If Staple Alarm is set to Single or Continuous, the alarm is sounded, the printer stops printing, and the Load
staples message appears. Install a new staple cartridge, or press to clear the message and continue
printing.
