Module Shutdown Procedure
Perform a Module Shutdown Procedure when you want to remove power from a UPS module when required for
maintenance.
Before performing any maintenance on your Liebert Series 600T UPS, observe ALL of the WARNINGS in
4.0 - Maintenance.
Use the module Monitor/Mimic Display to determine the operating condition of the UPS module.
From the module Master Menu, select the Shutdown Procedures screen. Note that this is a two-page screen.

Step 1. If the UPS module is on-line, simultaneously press the Ou tput Trip and Control Enable pads
(Figure 10). This will open the UPS module output circuit breaker (CB2, Figure 8).
Step 2. Open the module battery disconnect (MBD) circuit breaker by simultaneously pressing the Battery Trip
and Control Enable pads (Figure 10).

is takenoff line, goto thesystem control cabinet andselectthe "LOAD
TRANSFERPROCEDURES"screen.Follow theinstructions totransfer
tobypass.
2. Open themoduleoutput breakerbysimultaneously pressing the OUTPUTTRIP
andCONTROLENABLE pushbuttons.
3. Open themodulebatterybreakerbysimultaneously pressing the BATTERY TRIP
andCONTROLENABLE pushbuttons.
4. Manuallyopen theinput breakerbymoving thehandle tothe OFFposition.

5. Verify breakerstatus onthe"MONITOR/ MIMIC"screen.
6. Ifnecessaryformaintenancepurposes,turn thecontrol powerswitch(fuse
disconnect onsomemodels)to theOFFposition.
7. Waita minimum oftwo(2)minutes beforeattempting anyotheraction.
