To restore your TCP/IP configuration, follow the steps below:
1. Follow steps 1 and 2 in the instructions above.
2. Select either Specify an IP address or Obtain IP address automatically
and enter the original values you noted earlier.
3. Click OK and click OK again in the Network window.
4. Restart your computer.
If you wish to run the SNMP
Configuration Utility, click Start,
Programs, WAP11 Configuration
Utility, and WAP11 SNMP.
When you first start the Access
Point SNMP Configuration Utility,
a screen will appear asking you to
enter the Wireless Network Access
Point’s IP Address.
Enter the IP Address—192.168.1.250 is the default setting—and Password—pub-
lic is the default password—and then click the OK button to continue.
(As this is a private IP address, you do not need to purchase an additional IP
Address from your service provider.)

THE STATUS TAB
The Status tab displays the Wireless Network Access Point’s current status.
From this tab, you can view the status information along with reconnecting to
the Wireless Network Access Point and restoring its default settings.
• Working Status. This displays your current connection status, notifying
you of any problems with the connection.
• Regulatory Domain. This status shows the regulatory domain preset by the
manufacturer for the country the product was purchased in.
• Firmware Version. This displays the present version of the Access Point’s
firmware and is limited to a maximum of four characters. It also shows the
Access Point’s assigned name.
• MAC Address. This displays the MAC Address of your current WAP11.
• ESSID. The unique name shared among all points in your wireless network
is displayed here.
