4. Repeattheabovesteptoconnecttheremainingtelephoneequipmenttothesecondchannelonyour
MultiVOIP.
5. Ensurethattheunitisproperlyconnectedtoearthgroundbyverifyingthatitisreliablygrou ndedwhen
mountedwithinarack.Thiscanbeaccomplishedbyconnectingagroundingwirebetweenthechassisanda
metallicobjectthatprovidesanelectricalground.
6. TurnonpowertotheMultiVOIPbyplacingtheON/OFFswitchonthebackpaneltotheONposition.Wait
fortheBOOTLEDontheMultiVOIPtogooffbeforeproceeding.Thismaytakeafewminutes.
7. InstalltheMultiVOIPsoftware,asdescribedinalaterchapterinthisguide.
