5. DHCP operation
Introduction
This document describes the operation and
configuration of DHCP on the AP. Server
operation is essentially unchanged, other than
the effects of revisions to the user interface to
cater for client operation.
The AP can be configured for either server or
client operation (this is an exclusive choice –
choosing both simultaneously is not accepted).
Server operation is described in more detail
below, while client operation is described on
page 33. The AP DHCP implementations
do not
support BOOTP interoperability.
