Ports – Configuration
The Configuration tab under the Ports category will show a detailed overview of all the active ports on the
switch. The overview will display the following information:
Port Number
This is the port index.
Port Name
This field displays the name of the port. The designation of TX is for copper ports and FX is for fiber optic ports.
Admin Status
This configurable field displays the existing status of the port whether it is Enabled/Disabled.
Link Status
Current Link state of the port.
Auto Negotiation State
This configurable field displays the current auto-negotiation state whether it is Enabled/Disable.
Port Speed
This configurable field displays the speed of each port 10/100 Mbps.
Duplex Mode
This configurable field displays the existing mode of the port whether it is Full Duplex/Half
Duplex.
Flow Control State
This configurable field displays the existing flow control status of each port. When enabled, the
individual port supports
half-duplex back pressure and full-duplex flow control. The default is
Disabled.
Force High Priority State
This configurable field displays the port priority status of each port. When enabled for a port all
frames received on that
port will be forced to the highest priority queue regardless of 'Default
Priority' setting or priority tags within the received
frames. The default is Disabled. In an untagged
N-Ring configuration, the N-Ring ports on the N-Ring Manager and
active N-Ring Members will be
Enabled.
Default Priority
This configurable field displays the default QoS priority for the port when an untagged frame is
received. The range is
0-7.
RSTP State
The current RSTP status of a port. It may contain Disable/Discarding/Learning/Forwarding.
PVID
This configurable field displays the existing port VLAN ID setting. The allowable range is 1-4094.
