Generating a Cleaning Page
The Cleaning Page Process
• Removes residual impurities from printing surfaces.
• Reduces problems such as repeating marks, blotching, and
shading.
To generate a Cleaning Page on the OKIPAGE 6e, enter the
Operator Panel
and click on the
Service
tab. Under
Print Page
click
Cleaning
, then
OK
and follow the on screen instructions.
On the OKIPAGE 6ex take the printer off-line.
Press the
[RESET] / [RECOVER]
buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds.
The display will show CLEANING, MANUAL A4 SIZE
REQUEST.
Pull the manual tray down to a horizontal position and insert a
clean sheet of A4 paper. The paper will be pulled automatically
into the printer and PRINT CLEANING will be displayed in
the message window.
When complete the printer will return to the off-line mode.
Close the manual feed tray and press the
[ON-LINE]
button.
