Printer Status Messages
This section contains explanations of the different messages you
will see, displayed on one, or both lines in the LCD window of
your printer.

ON-LINE

ON-LINE

Indicates the printer is warming up
prior to operation.
Indicates the printer is in ON LINE
mode. XXX = HP4, FX, PPR, WIN,
AUTO.
Indicates the printer is in OFF-LINE
mode.
Ready ON: Indicates that there is data
in the printer buffer.
Ready BLINK: Indicates that the
printer is receiving data.
Printer is printing.
Indicates that copy pages are being
printed.
nnn = current page.
mmm = total pages.
Indicates that the printer is operating
in power saving mode.
