Sending Faxes
From memory
The unit is able to scan and store documents into memory, and then transmit the stored document.
The memory capacity is approx. 25 pages based on the CCITT No. 1 Test Chart in standard resolution.
For the CCITT No. 1 Test Chart, see page 131.

Insert the document FACE DOWN.

Enter the fax number using the dial keypad.

Press .
The document will be fed into the unit and
scanned into memory.
After storing all of the pages, the unit will transmit
the document.
The amount of memory used will be shown as a
percentage on the display.

Transmitting documents from memory
Note:
The stored document will be automatically erased after transmission.
To cancel the memory transmission, press during or after scanning the document.
If you select the fine, super fine or half tone resolution, the number of documents that can be sent will
decrease.
If the stored pages exceed the memory capacity, the transmission will be cancelled.
If the other party’s fax number is written on the document, you can enter the number by referring to the
document before inserting it.
