Loading a Ribbon
¯ Ribbon is only needed for the
thermotransfer printing.
1. Open the cover.
2. Release the printhead pressure lever (1).
3. Push the ribbon roll onto the ribbon unwind
reel (2) as far as it will go. Push an empty
ribbon sleeve onto the rewind reel (3).
¯ The ribbon turns counter-clockwise
when unwinding.
4. Load the ribbon as shown into the printer
(Figs. 1 and 2). Secure the ribbon end to
the empty ribbon sleeve.
5. Turn the rewind reel counter-clockwise a
few times until the ribbon is crease-free.
Replacing a used ribbon
1. Open the printhead pressure lever.
2. Remove the used ribbon roll from the
rewind reel.
3. Remove the empty ribbon core from the
unwind reel and place it on the rewind reel.
4. Load a new ribbon roll following the steps
above.
WARNING!
Rotating axles! – Keep long hair,
loose clothing, jewelry, etc. away
from the printer!
« Do not operate the printer with the
cover open!
« Be careful when touching the
printhead. It may be hot.
