Route Data Modem Calls to the FAX Jack

The AFX-300 is preset to route incoming data modem calls to
its
MODEM
jack, but you can set it so both incoming fax and
data modem calls are routed only to the
FAX
jack. This is es-
pecially useful if you connected a combined fax/data modem
to the AFX-300.

If you connected both a TAD and a data modem to the AFX-
300, you can turn on the AFX-300’s AMD feature so the AFX-
300 can detect an incoming data modem call and automatical-
ly switch the call to your data modem.
