PBX Connection
If the fax machine is connected to a PBX, you must set it for PBX operation.
1 Press once and once.
2 Press once and 5 times.
3 Press once.
4 Press if the machine is connected
to a PBX. Press if it is connected
to a regular public line.
5 Set the mode for connecting calls from the PBX to an outside line. Press
for ID or for FLASH. (Refer to your PBX manual or consult your
supplier for the correct setting.)
• If you selected FLASH, go directly to Step 8.
6 If you selected ID in Step 5, enter your PBX ID number (maximum of 3
digits).
(Note: The ID number is automatically dialled for access to the public line when
automatic dialling is used. Do not store it as part of the number when storing an
auto-dial number.)
7 Press .
8 Press to return to the date and time display.
