WPA–PSK
WPA–PSK (Pre-shared Key) is used in a Pre Shared Key mode that does not require an authentication
server. Access to the Internet and the rest of the wireless network services is allowed only if the pre-
shared key of the computer matches that of the Access Point. This approach offers the simplicity of the
WEP key, but uses stronger TKIP encryption.
If your network uses WPA-PSK, select that radio button, and then click on the Configure button. You will
then see the following window.
Enter the WPA pass-phrase in the text box. The pass-phrase must be a minimum of 8 characters. This is
the password shared between the Access Points and the Clients. Click on the OK button when completed.
