LBA Format
The following items will be displayed by the BIOS:
Total Sectors: This item displays the number of total sectors available in the
LBA Format.
Maximum Capacity: This item displays the maximum capacity in the LBA
Format.
Multi-Sector Transfers
This item allows the user to specify the number of sectors per block to be used
in the multi-sector transfer. The options are Disabled, 4 Sectors, 8 Sectors, and
16 Sectors.
LBA Mode Control
This item determines whether the Phoenix BIOS will access the IDE Channel 0
Master Device via the LBA mode. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
32 Bit I/O
This option allows the user to enable or disable the function of a 32-bit data
transfer. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Transfer Mode
This option allows the user to set the transfer mode. The options are Standard,
Fast PIO1, Fast PIO2, Fast PIO3, Fast PIO4, FPIO3/DMA1 and FPIO4/DMA2.
Ultra DMA Mode
This option allows the user to select Ultra DMA Mode. The options are Disabled,
Mode 0, Mode 1, Mode 2, Mode 3, Mode 4, and Mode 5.
Installed Memory
This display informs you how much system memory is recognized as being present
in the system.
System Memory
This display informs you how much memory is available in the system.
