TheDRV8811_RDcustomerEVMallowsforthepossibilityofcoordinatingstepratessuchthat
acceleratinganddeceleratingprofilesareachieved.Bothaccelerationanddecelerationarecontrolledby
thesameparameters,accelerationrateandtimebase.
Whenthemotorstarts,italwaysstartsattheslowedpulsespersecond(PPS)speed(62pulsesper
second).ThecontrollerwillacceleratethemotorinordertoreachthePPSspeed.Accelerationrateisan
8-bitnumber(0to255)thatgetsaddedtothecurrentPPSspeedandtimebaseisan8-bitnumber(0to
255)thatspecifieshowmanymillisecondswillelapsefromonespeedincreasetothenext.Oncethe
specifiedPPSspeedhasbeenachieved,theaccelerationstops.
