OAM Mode
Control
This determines how the OAM Modefor
ports is configured (manual/auto):
In auto mode, the port defaults to active
if in a chassis; passive if a standalone.
In manual mode, the user can choose
the OAM mode, using the EFM HUB
MIB under the TN private MIB tree.
9 9
OAM State Enable/disable IEEE 802.1ah OAM
management on this port.
9
Port Index The index of the port in
sfbrm100PortTable.
9
Port Lock IEEE 802.1x MAC authentication. All
non-management frames received on this
port are discarded if the source address is
not in the learned-address database; this
could cause continuous MAC address
violation. To prevent this, an entry with
all port vectors as ‘0’ can be added to the
address database. This disables learning
new source addresses.
