User Mode 2 (Date and Time setting) “U2”
Enter User Mode 2 to set the correct date and time.
Note: Although there will be no performance problems if the date
and time are incorrect, the printer automatically records the date
and time errors occur. This information can be critical for service
problem solving. It is recommended the date and time be set
correctly.
1. To enter User Mode 2:
Press the [Menu] Key twice when the printer is in the Standby
(idle) Mode.
The [Menu] Key lights green and the Status Display indicates “U2.”
flashing on the left side of the display.
2. Press the [ <-- ] Key.
C6 appears in the left side of the display and the scrolling seconds
time is displayed in the right side of the display. The seconds can
now be changed.
3. To change the seconds, press [Enter].
The seconds stop scrolling and begin to flash.
4. To change the value, press the [ --> ] Key to increase the
value and [ <-- ] Key to decrease the value.
5. Press [Enter] to store the value.
There are 6 setting locations: C6 - seconds, C5 - minutes, C4 -
hour, C3 - day, C2 - month, C1 - year, in sequence with each
press of the [ <-- ] Key.
