1. System Name - Choose a descriptive name for identification
purposes, e.g., p128l. This name should be no more than 8
alphanumeric characters. Spaces are not allowed, but “-” and “_”
are accepted. This name can be retrieved remotely via SNMP,
used for CHAP authentication, and will be displayed as the prompt
in the Command Mode. See Chapter 11 for more information on
CHAP; see Chapter 13 for more information on Command Mode.
2. Location - Enter the geographic location (up to 31 characters) of
your Prestige, e.g., San Jose.
3. Contact Person’s Name - Enter the name (up to 8 characters) of
the person in charge of your Prestige, e.g., Brent Harper. The
Location and the Contact Person fields are optional.
4. Protocols - Turn on or off the individual protocols for your
particular application. Unsupported protocols will have a N/A in
their fields.
