information
North bridge Broadwater is a Graphics Memory Controller Hub (GMCH)
designed for use with a LGA 775 (Land Grid Array) socket T processor. The
GMCH provides the CPU interface, DDR2 interface, PCI Express interface,
DMI (Direct Media Interface) and integrated graphics with display
interfaces. It communicates with the I/O Controller Hub (ICH8) over DMI
(Direct Media Interface).
