Recharging the Battery

from the procedure described in this manual.
The following procedure is acceptable under
most circumstances:
1.
Install the battery pack in your computer (if
not already installed).
2.
Connect the AC adapter as described in
Chapter 1.
When the notebook is turned off, the battery
charging indicator turns on. This is called
rapid charge mode.
When the notebook is turned on, the notebook
switches to charge-in-use mode.
When the battery is fully charged, the battery
charging indicator turns off and the AC
adapter changes to trickle mode to maintain
the battery charge level.
3.
To maintain a full charge, leave the computer
connected to the AC adapter except when
transporting the computer.
Note:
Charge time is reduced by several hours if
the unit is turned off when charging the battery.
