Turn off the computer. Disconnect the AC
adapter from the computer and from the AC
outlet.

Close and latch the display.

Tie up cables using twist ties or rubber
bands.
4.
Enclose peripherals in the bags in which they
were originally shipped. Ensure static-
sensitive items are in anti-static bags.
5.
Place computer, peripherals, documentation,
and floppies in a carrying case. If you do not
have a carrying case, put the computer in a
briefcase you plan to carry and the other
supplies in luggage you plan to check.
