With the cursor on Main menu item 1)STATUS,
activate the menu with Enter or number 1. The unit
displays the first two Status submenu items with the
cursor on
1)NI PERF RPTS.
With the arrows or number 5, select 5)PORT STATUS.
Activate the selection with Enter or number 5. The
unit begins the display of available ports.
Remote Port
Selecting Remote Port status allows viewing of the
status of activity on the Control In remote port. This is
useful for troubleshooting communication sessions, as
well as verifying cabling.
With the cursor on Main menu item 1)STATUS,
activate the menu with Enter or number 1. The unit
displays the first two Status menu items with the
censor on 1).
With the Arrows or number 6, select 6)REMOTE
PORT. Activate the selection with Enter or number 6.
The unit shows the following parameters (an asterisk
indicates the presence of the parameter):
RX Characters received at remote port
ID Unit ID received at remote port
CRC Correct CRC received
PC Correct passcode received
TX Characters transmitted from the remote
port
