Square Wave Output (for U1252A)
The square wave output function can be used to generate a
PWM (pulse width modulation) output or provide a synchro-
nous clock source (baud rate generator). You can also use
this function to check and calibrate flow-meter displays,
counters, tachometers, oscilloscopes, frequency converters,
frequency transmitters, and other frequency input devices.
1 Turn the rotary switch to position. The default
display setting is 600 Hz on the secondary display and
50% duty cycle on the primary display.
2 Press or to scroll through the available frequencies
(choose from the available 28 frequencies):
3 Press to select the duty cycle (%) on the primary
display.
4 Press or to adjust the duty cycle. Duty cycle can
be set for 256 steps and each step is 0.390625%. The
display only indicates the best resolution with 0.001%.
