Start the device search.
The device search is performed using the default setting
for [Discovery] (i.e., [UDP]). If no devices are found,
change the [Discovery] setting and perform the search
again.
If you set [Discovery] to [SNMP], click [Refresh].
You can also perform searches by specifying the device IP
address in [Device Name/IP] or [IP Range]. To do so, click
for the corresponding list box.
If you click for [IP Range], a confirmation message for
the search range appears. Click the [Yes] button.
Device search starts, and a list of discovered devices
appears on the screen.
8. Select the check box for the device you want to add,
and click [OK].
The device registration screen appears.
9. Configure the device registration settings.
[Password]
Enter the password specified on the ScanFront.
[Device Settings]
The [Use HTTPS] option is enabled by default. You can
disable this option to enter a port number of your choice in
the [Port] box.

Click the [Register] button.
The screen for specifying the device name appears.

Specify the device name.
• To specify a new device name, enable [New name] and
enter the new name in the text box.
• To use the current device name, enable [Existing name].

Click the [OK] button.
The device is added. The following Home screen appears
on the LCD of the added device.
