■ Communication Error Occurs
CHECK 1 DID YOU LAUNCH IS SCAN OR IS SCAN PLUS IMMEDIATELY AFTER IT
WAS CLOSED?
Do not attempt to launch IS Scan or IS Scan Plus again immediately after
it is closed. Wait for a few seconds and then launch again.

HECK 2 IS THE PRINTER PLUGGED IN AND READY?
Check that the printer is plugged in and ready.
CHECK 3 ARE YOU USING THE USB INTERFACE RUNNING UNDER

INDOWS 98?
When using the USB interface running under Windows 98, a
communication error may occur if the Hardware acceleration setting is
Full. To solve the problem, follow these steps:
1 Double-click the System icon in the Control Panel for Windows.
2 When the System Properties window is displayed, click the Performance
tab.
3 Click the Graphics button.
4 If Hardware acceleration is set to Full in the Advanced Graphics Settings
dialog box, set to None.
