Redialing a Busy Number
There are two methods of redialing:
- Manual Redialing
-Automatic Redialing
Manual Redialing
Press [Redial] to redial the last number entered with the numeric keys.
NOTE
To cancel manual redialing, press [Stop/Reset].
Automatic Redialing
When using memory sending to send a document and the recipient's line is busy,
the machine will redial the number after an interval.
The machine allows you to customize automatic redialing settings to suit your
needs. (See "Customizing Automatic Redialing Settings" below.)
NOTE
To cancel automatic redialing, wait until the machine starts redialing, then press [Stop/
Reset] ➞ follow the instructions in the LCD.
Customizing Automatic Redialing Settings
You can customize the following settings:
• Whether or not the machine redials automatically
• The number of times the machine redials
• The time interval between redialings
Follow this procedure to customize automatic redialing settings:
