Caution In some CDE200 chassis, the streaming interface network interface card (NIC) is installed in slots 4 and
5 (counting from the left-most slot). In this hardware configuration, the Gigabit Ethernet interfaces on
the motherboard are addressed as interfaces 3/0 and 4/0, and the interfaces on the NICs are detected as
1/0, 2/0, 5/0, and 6/0. The interface numbering must be taken into consideration when configuring IP
addresses and port channels.
Figure 1-19 shows the location of the CDE300 back panel ports and connectors.
