Chapter 4 Configuring the PA-POS-1OC3
Configuring the Interfaces
Step 1 Enter configuration mode and specify that the console terminal will be the source of the configuration
subcommands as follows:
Router# configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Router(config)#
Step 2 Specify the new interface to configure by entering the interface pos command, followed by the interface
address of the interface you plan to configure.
Table 4-4 provides example of the interface pos subcommand for the supported platforms.
