5. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the TouchPad cable is connected and disconnect the cable
(2) from on the system board.

Remove the Phillips PM2.5×9.0 screw that secures the top cover to the computer.
7.
Lift the front edge of the top cover and remove it.
Reverse this procedure to install the top cover.
