System Power Supply:
C2N-SPWS300
Introduction
Features and Functions
The C2N-SPWS300 is a 300-watt system power supply designed for large Cresnet
control systems (herein referred to as Cresnet system). It operates with an input of
100 to 240 VAC, 4A (maximum) and a noise rating less than 150mV.
The C2N-SPWS300 provides regulated 24 VDC, 300 W to Cresnet system
components. The C2N-SPWS300 is capable of delivering a nominal 75 watts of
power at 24 volts DC on any of its eight channels. Each channel is accessed at the
front panel of the unit via two black Cresnet type connectors per output. Outputs are
limited to 75 watts (3.125 amps typical) by an electronic circuit breaker. Each output
connector also has Cresnet Y-Z signals. All Cresnet signals are in parallel.
Functional Summary
NOTE: If all eight channels
p
rovide the maximum rating
(75W), the unit would have to
supply 600 watts total. That
exceeds the C2N-SPWS300’s
300W capability. Therefore, a
channel can deliver up to 75W,
but every channel may not be
f
ully utilized. Some channels
may not be used at all.
