TheNACControllerPEPinstalledintheEnterasys Matrix N1chassisinterfaces
tothechassis
backplaneutilizingtheFTM2connector.
TheEnterasys Matrix N1chassis:
•AllowshotswappingoftheNACControllerPEP,
• Supportstworedundant,load‐sharingpowersupplies,and
•Canbeinstalledasafreestandingunitorinstalledintoastandard48.26‐centimeter(19‐inch)
rack.
AllactivecomponentsfortheN1chassisare
locatedonthebacksideofthechassisforincreased
safety.AllLEDindicatorsareobservablefromthefrontofthechassistoaidinmonitoringnetwork
operationalstatusandperformingmaintenance.
