Unpacking the Enterasys Matrix N1 Chassis
Beforeunpackingthechassis,examinetheoutsidepackagingforobviousdamage.Tounpackthe
Enterasys Matrix N1Chassisproceedas follows:
1. OpentheboxandremovethepackingmaterialprotectingtheEnterasys Matrix N 1chassis.
2. Removethepowercords,documentation,ElectrostaticDischarge(ESD)wriststrap,and
adhesivefeet(forstandaloneplacement).
3. Verifythecontentsofthe
cartonaslistedinthetablebelow.
Electrical Hazard: Only qualified personnel should install or service this unit.

needed. Leave the components in their respective shipping cartons until you are ready to install
that component. Save all shipping materials in the event that the chassis has to be repacked.
