Overview of Connecting Cables to the RoamAbout R2
Before cabling the RoamAbout R2, you should install the RoamAbout R2 to a wall or
ceiling. For detailed hardware installation procedures, see the RoamAbout R2 Wireless
Access Platform Hardware Installation Guide. Figure 2-2 provides you with an illustration
of the steps listed in the following procedure.
1. Insert the PC Card(s) into the RoamAbout R2. Refer to the RoamAbout 802.11 PC
Card Installation Guide for Regulatory and Installation information before installing
the PC Card.
