1000BASE-T Network

The7G4285‐49and7G4205‐72support10/100/1000MbpsviafixedRJ45frontpanel

connectors.Theseconnectorssupportcopperwireconnectionsthatcanoperateupto

1000 Mbps.Thedeviceattheotherendofthetwistedpairsegmentmustmeet

IEEE 802.3‐2002networkrequirementsforthedevicestooperateatGigabit

speed.

Note: The fixed ports of the modules support Category 5 UTP cabling with an impedance

between 85 and 111 ohms for 100 Mbps operation.

The modules are capable of operating at either 10, 100, or 1000 Mbps. The module

automatically senses the speed of the other device and adjusts its speed accordingly.
