Follow the safety notes in the "Safety/Regulations" manual when
connecting or disconnecting cables.
If a fault occurs, try to correct it as described. If you fail to correct the problem, proceed as follows:
Make a note of the steps and the circumstances that led to the fault. Also
make a no te of any error messages displayed.
Switch the Tablet PC off.
Contact the Hotline/Service Desk.
You can nd the telephone numbers in th e service desk list. Have the
following information ready when you call:
The model name and serial number of the Tablet PC. The serial number
is located on a sticker on the underside of the Tablet PC.
Alternatively, you can look up the serial number in the operating system: Se lect
Settings > About the tablet > Status. The serial number is stored in the Serial number eld.
Notes of any messages that appear on the screen and information on acoustic signals.
Your system conguration and all peripheral devices connected to your system.
Your sales contract.
Help if problems occur
Should you encounter a problem with your compu ter that you cannot resolve yourself:
Note the serial number of your device. You will nd the s erial number on the
sticker on the on the ba ck of the Tablet PC.

Have the se
rial number of your system ready for this purpose.
Using the Reset button
If the device no longer reacts to input or the ON/OFF switch, use the Reset button to restart the device.
Disconnect the device from the mains adapter.
Open th
e slot cover of the SIM card and the memory card.
Press a pen or a piece of wire (e.g. a pape rclip) rmly into the opening
of the Reset button to restart the device.
Your d
evice vibrates brieytoconrm the reset.
Replace the slot cover.
Conn
ect the mains adapter to the device again.
