Note: his is the example for the case where the operative configuration file in memory
is opened. You can open any designated prepared configuration file by inputting
the file name.

The configuration file is opened by the open command.
The operative configuration file in memory is opened
in case that the file name was omitted.

Set built-in Ethernet Port 0 of as “LAN0” with the line
command. The "2/0" means that the NIF number is "2"
and the port number is "0" (the built-in Ethernet is com-
mensurate with the NIF number "2”).
Likewise, set built-in Ethernet port 1 as "LAN1." The
prompt ! is shown after the configuration changes.
Set an IP address and the subnet mask length for
"LAN0" with the ip command. For this example, the IP
address is "192.168.1.1" and the subnet mask length is
"24."
Likewise, set the IP address to "192.168.2.1" and the
subnet mask length to "24" for "LAN1."

A static route is set using the static com-
mand. In this example, the address
"192.168.2.2" is set as a default route.
