Whether the indicator is lit, flashing or off is indicated as shown in the following diagram. Although there is fast flashing and slow flashing,
they are not distinguished diagrammatically.

The six indicators flash in sequence.
Ready (On line)
The printer is ready to print.
(In this example, the printer’s cassette is selected).
Off line
The printer is off-line. The printer stores but does not
print received data.
(In this example, the printer’s cassette is selected).
Receiving data
The printer is receiving data.
(In this example, the printer’s cassette is selected).
