d2 Blu-ray Drive. e LaCie Blu-ray Drive facilitates
recording, rewriting and playback of High-Definition
(HD) video and storing on a disc much larger amounts
of data than ever before. Saving a 2-hour HD video to
disc requires 23.3GB of storage capacity, so a Blu-ray
drive is a necessity for anyone storing HD video. is
state-of-the-art drive offers external flexibility and ease-
of-use in our trusted, compact, sturdy d2 design and
comes with the latest burning software.
Blu-ray capacity lets you conveniently save a whole
project, a large database or your hard drive back-up on a
single disc (up to 50GB).
On a single Blu-ray disc you can:
Save as much as 4 hours of HD video
Set up regular and automated hard disk backups*
Back up whole projects: safely keep a copy of ongo-
ing projects*
Back up whole databases : photos, corporate logos
and documents, etc
Archive completed projects and unused data: when
data are not regularly used it is safer to archive them
on removable media. It also saves disk space.
