Note: By default, the SmartUSB utility uses this option to back up your data. If
you have no desired option, it is a good idea to select this backup type,
which can address most events.
- Freshen existing files: Update the specified files, which are present in the archive,
but the unspecified files will be skipped.

Note: If this is your first time to perform the SmartUSB utility, we do not suggest
this option. If using this option, make sure your hard disk has the same file
names and folders, which should not be empty, or the application will not
compress any files or folders without showing an error message.
- Add and replace files (remove unspecified files): Add all specified files, which are
not present in the archive. Replace archived files, which have the same name as the
files to be added. The unspecified files in the archive will be removed.
- Update files (remove unspecified files): Update the specified files which are present
in the archive, but the unselected files will be removed. This method will also compress
the specified new files to the archive.
Compression Level field: When creating a new archive, you first need to select the
archive format.
- Fastest: Takes less time to compress, but usually achieve a lower compression ratio.
