Theti_usb_3410_5052drivershouldbeautomaticallyloadedwhenyouplugintheTIUSB3410/5052devices,
providedyourdeviceusesthedefaultvendorandproductids.Ifitdoesnot,seethesectionoftheReleaseNotes
file"VENDORandPRODUCTIDS".
ThefirstTIUSB3410/5052devicepluggedinappearsas/dev/ttyUSB0,th
ennextas/dev/ttyUSB1,andsoon.
ThesedevicenamesaresharedwithotherUSBserialdevices.
IfTIUSBdeviceshadbe eninusebeforeinstallingthenewTIUSBdriver,oldversionsofthedriverscanstillbe
loaded.Youmustunloadtheseoldversionsbeforethenewlyins
talleddriverisused.
Tounloadolddriversandloadnewdriver:
1. Reboot
or
2. CloseallopenTIUSBserialports.
3. DisconnecttheTIUSBserialdevices.
4. UnloadtheoldTIUSBserialdriverwiththecommand
rmmodti_usb_3410_5052
5. ReconnecttheTIUSBserialdevicesandthenewdriverisloaded.
UninstallingtheTIUSBDriver(for2.6kernelversions)
IfyouinstalledtheTIUSBRPMpackage,youcanuninstallitbylogginginasrootandrunningthecommand
