Changing the Domain Name Delimiter
In the complete user name there is a single-character delimiter that separates the
user name from the domain name. By default, the LNS removes the domain name
when it receives a call. The delimiter tells the LNS which characters to remove.
The default delimiter is an at sign (@).
To change the delimiter, complete the following tasks:
Site Manager Procedure

1. In the Configuration Manager window,
choose
Protocols
.
The Protocols menu opens.
2. Choose
IP
. The IP menu opens.
3. Choose
L2TP
. The L2TP menu opens.
4. Choose
L2TP Configuration
. The L2TP Configuration List window
opens.
5. Select an LNS entry from the list.
6. Set the
Domain Name Delimiter
parameter. Click on
Help
or see the
parameter description on page A-7
.
7. Click on
Done
. You return to the Configuration Manager
window.
