Procedure
1 Load the document.
2 Select the method for entering the alias for destination
T.38 device.
For more information on entry methods, refer to the
User’s Guide, “Basic Faxing, Sending a Fax.”
Entry methods for T.38 transmissions are:
· One-Touch
· Non-programmed aliases
also known as a Numeric Keypad or walk-up
You must send the document as an Internet
Transmission.
See the following section (“Sending to a Non-
Programmed Alias”) for more information.
3 Press Start.
4 The machine scans the document and the display shows
that a transmission is being attempted.

5 When the connection has been made between the
sending and receiving machines, the display changes.

The transmission rate does not display during T.38
transmissions.
6 At the end of the transmission, the result of the
communication session shows on the display and a
buzzer sounds.
