Connecting Recorder to PC
Connecting to Your PC Using the USB Cable

Turn ON the recorder ( P.20).

Connect the USB connection cable to the USB port of the
PC.

Confirm that the recorder has stopped and connect a USB
cable to the connection port on the recorder.
If [Remote] is displayed on the recorder, it indicates proper connections.
Once you connect the recorder to your PC, the recorder will be
powered through the USB cable. When the AC adapter is connected
power will be supplied from the AC adapter.
Notes
NEVER remove the card or disconnect the USB cable while the record/play indicator
light is flashing. If you do, the data on the card will get destroyed.
Some PCs may not supply sufficient power and the recorder fails to connect. Refer
to your PC Users Manual regarding the USB port on your PC.
Do not connect the recorder to a PC by using a USB hub. Make sure to connect to
a USB port on your PC.
Make sure to push the cable connector all the way in. Otherwise, the recorder may
not operate properly.
Supported computers
Operating System:Windows 2000/XP/Vista
Supported computers: Windows computers equipped with more than
one free USB port.
Operating System:Mac OS 10.3.9 - 10.5
Supported computers: Apple Macintosh series equipped with more
than one free USB port.
Notes
This is an operational environment for saving the files recorded by this recorder to
your PC with USB connection.
Even if operational environment is satisfied, we do not support upgraded OS, the
multi-boot environment and self-modified computers.
